Anadolu University organized the Central Anatolian Career Fair (İKAF) in Eskişehir, which opened its doors on February 28, 2024, and attracted great interest. With a wide range of participants, the fair provided guidance on career opportunities to students and graduates alike, with over 200 institutions and organizations taking part. On the opening day of the fair, alongside numerous public and private sector organizations, the Directorate of Religious Affairs stand attracted attention, aiming to inform those interested in traditional arts. At the Directorate of Religious Affairs stand, handcrafts such as calligraphy, illumination, and marbling, which were part of the workshop activities in universities, were exhibited. Visitors were provided with information about the history of craftsmanship, technical details, and materials used, while also having the opportunity to experience these art forms first-hand. In this context, the Provincial Mufti Bekir Gerek and the Director of Health, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yaşar Bildirici, who visited the fair, examined the Directorate of Religious Affairs stand and received information from the officials. The interaction at the fairgrounds also facilitated collaboration and communication networks among participating institutions. In essence, this event, which combines cultural heritage and career opportunities, has been recorded as one of the rare gatherings that enable professional development and the transfer of cultural values.
